Today, gratitude to our Higher Power that we are the ones blessed with the grace to recover and a commitment to live only the current 24 Hours, not looking back to drag the emotional and physical wreckage of yesterday into today and not looking to tomorrow because it may never come. We embrace with gratitude, humility and a pledge to be of good to others that we are not among the casualties of alcoholics who did not survive their last drunk, who did not choose what we as survivors did — recovery.
